The Social Enterprise Branding Giveaway was announced mid December, 2016 as a way to understand and support the unique needs of profit-for-impact businesses. The giveaway closed on February 15, 2017 with a total of 80 entries representing social enterprises from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and other countries.

Thinkory’s process of evaluating all candidates took inspiration from the Tamer Fund for Social Ventures at Columbia University’s Business School in New York. The team weighed factors such as scalability, financial self-sustainability and long-term impact. These and other factors such as subject matter, clarity of impact, and customer demand were considered to determine Thinkory’s fit for the selected social enterprises. Ultimately, wearwell, All The Wild Roses and Tsuno were selected for their transformative power as consumer brands and their alignment with the passions and capabilities of the team at Thinkory.
